The blooms were in full bloom this weekend for the annual Dogwood Azalea Festival! And as usual, it was BEAUTIFUL, with tons of people and things to see!
Some friends and I started Friday off with an "Ole Skool" levee party! I'm quite sure the last time I had been to one of those was in 94 - 95?!
Brought back some memories of great times and great friends. Can't wait for another! Hint Hint!

Saturday we all went to the parade, followed by the must have gourmet treats from the vendors, mmmmm, corn dogs, nachos, pork sandwiches, lemon shake-ups, funnel cakes!! Then it was time to walk it off with a little shopping!!
Finishing off the day with a trip to the exotic animal petting zoo, pony rides, pig races which made me feel bad about the pork steak sandwich, just a little though. Then, Prudence's debut at the dog show! And yes, she was PRETTIEST dog there and the PINKEST!
